All Lexus models have their mainstream, Toyota counterpart. This one is no exception. It shares most of its characteristics with the recently introduced Toyota C-HR. You can see a lot of inspiration from models like RX and NX, though there are some distinctive details as well, in form of slightly updated spindle grille, different air intakes on the bumper etc. The 2022 Lexus UX definitely won’t bring any important change in this aspect.

Once again, don’t expect too many changes in the 2022 Lexus UX. The current engine may be economical, but definitely lacks power for competing in a premium segment. We expect to see a new engine in the offer for 2022 Lexus UX. It should be a familiar 2.0-liter turbo inline-four, which delivers around 235 horsepower. The current 169-hp engine should remain and it will probably be reserved for base models. Underpowered, it offers amazing fuel economy, which goes around 33 mpg in a combined ride. If you want even better economy, a hybrid version is in the offer. It combines a four-cylinder gasoline engine with a couple of electric motors, making total output of 175 horsepower. Combined fuel economy goes around 39 mpg.
2022 Lexus UX Release Date and Price.
Despite there is a big chance to see a new engine in the offer, the 2022 Lexus UX probably won’t come before the last quarter of next year. Count on the same base price, which goes around $32,000.
